Updates on the entertainment world

This blog of mine has become an ad hoc of news around the globe. Most of the time I write here about national issues. Sometimes about politics. And to make this blog a bit lighter in nature, I also give updates on the entertainment world. Yes, I do read entertainment news. In fact, I read it a lot! I love being updated on what’s happening in the world of the stars and other popular personalities. I love reading their escapades and their seemingly glamorous life. I love reading about how a big celebrity would go out of his or her way to help the less fortunate. I love knowing that they are not only good-looking and filthy rich. They are also kindhearted enough to lend a helping hand to those who need it.

The earthquake in Haiti really devastated the country. It left so many people homeless, without food and water, without shelter, their love ones missing or dead, and their future looking bleak. But George Clooney, Wyclef Jean and other big named celebrities did something to give the people of Haiti the hope that they need. They held a fund-raising telethon and helped raised more than US$50 million to help in rebuilding the country and its people. I am sure you have read that entertainment news. It was such a huge deal in Hollywood that people really tuned in from across the globe to watch and help in their own little way.

These things we would not really learn a lot of without the entertainment sites and blogs dishing the news. I love being updated with what’s happening in the entertainment world. So I really go out of my way to read the news even when I am busy with other things. I should tell you that there’s also inspiration and joy in reading an entertainment site/blog.
