Bloggers sued over Jan Jan-Willie controversy

I just read that two bloggers are being sued over the Willing Willie controversy wherein a 6-year-old boy danced like a macho dancer in Willie Revillame‘s show. The boy Jan-Jan Suan danced in a segment of the said show and while the kid was crying, obviously humiliated over what’s being asked of him, Willie was laughing along with his live audience even asking the kid to do it again and again.
This is the video of that Jan-Jan episode…
Now, tell me what you think of that video.
Willie and his camp insist that there was no exploitation done on the kid. Of course, if you watched the video, you’d know right away that the kid felt humiliated dancing like an adult in front of a laughing audience with the host of the show egging him and everyone to make fun of it all.
Bloggers and everyone including celebrities reacted to the said video that gone viral after a few days when the episode was aired. Now, Jan-Jan’s parents are said to be suing the two bloggers they picked among the hundreds who blogged about that Jan Jan-Willie controversy. You know what? They just reacted the way almost everyone felt when they watched the video. Anyone with a lick of sense would know that Jan-Jan was exploited in that Willing Willie segment. Even if Jan-Jan’s parents insist that they were not forced to make Jan-Jan dance that way, or that Jan-Jan himself really wanted to dance, Willie as the show’s host should have put a stop to it the minute he saw what the kid’s talent was! But instead, he egged the child to dance some more, even with the child’s tears flowing down his face. The kid may have liked to dance to win some money for his family but to let him continue with his routine, the audience laughing at him… isn’t that cruel to the kid at the very least?
The bloggers just reacted. It’s but normal considering the severity of the offense done to the kid.
To the two bloggers being sued, John Silva and Froilan Grate, I say you are already made!
Don’t be bullied to silence. Continue blogging, my friends!
