Lancaster’s own Garden Spot Village, a premier senior living community in the region, presented “Encore: The Festival” this past June 4th on the grounds of the living center. Known for their commitment to quality of life for retirees, Garden Spot Village felt that the festival presented a perfect opportunity to inform both internal residents as well as the Baby Boomer + community at large with methods and techniques geared towards holistic health and an invigorating lifestyle for seniors of any age.
“Encore: The Festival” Mirrors Culture And Philosophy Of Garden Spot Village
Garden Spot Village encouraged and welcomed participants in the area, specifically those in the 55+ age bracket, to come and peruse the sights and sounds of the street festival. The event’s primary focus revolved around presenting activities honoring and celebrating the aging process with high quality living standards and an exuberant approach to existing with energy and excitement, regardless of age.
Garden Spot Village set up its 104 acre campus to house informative booths, seminars, bands and various other entertaining performers for spectators to enjoy. Much like the message of the festival, Garden Spot Village advocates senior empowerment and felt like “Encore” only further enhanced this message.
