Pathwalks and alleys

If you live in Quezon City and Manila, I am sure you are familiar with tight spaces in between houses. Those spaces serve as paths for residents to use. We call it pathwalk or alley. But do you know that these tight spaces are normally the reasons why when there’s a house burning in a certain area the firemen can’t get to it right away? They can’t bring their fire hoses right to the burning house because their equipment can’t get in.

It happened so many times in the past and I am sure it will happen again. I hope the government will do something about it. Widen those areas especially where there is a number of residential houses around.

It will help keep everyone safe.
